Two FO's, one lovely, one NOT! Let's start with the lovely, then you can stop reading :-)

These socks are Whitby from Knitting on the Road by Nancy Bush.
Yarn: Reynolds Soft Sea Wool. Lovely to work with, and definately has stitch definition, maybe too much? in light pink.
Needles: US 2 (2.75mm) harmony 32" circular needle.
Construction: Toe-up, two socks on one needle.

Next is a doll sweater I made while "experimenting".
Pattern: Diamonds from more Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch
Yarn: Cream - Knitpicks Palette, multi - Knitpicks Essential in Riverbed.
Needles: US3 Harmony, 32" circular needle
Construction: The Riverbed is not a nicely variegated yarn, and everything I try with it, I frog. So I thought, a doll sweater....who cares and it still does not work well. And pairing up the Palette with the Essential, does not work well either. They each have a different "texture" and don't match. (although I do like each individually)

I like both the socks and the sweater.
Love the Whitbys! Isn't it a great pattern? Fast and pretty!
I'll email you so we can figure out a plan for getting together....
I love the socks and I can see what you mean about the doll sweater.
Love the socks...I don't know if cables could ever pop too much for me! ;) Nancy Bush is amazing, isn't she? Although for some reason I always want to knit her socks when I come across them in blogs/on ravelry more than when I see them in her book. Weird.
The sweater was actually pretty cool up top (other than the texture issue, which I can't see/feel ;)), but that is some...eh, special pooling.... Ah well, that's why it's a doll sweater, right?
