Serendipitous Monkeys

Patterns: Serendipity by Adrienne Fong (Jan08 Rockin'Sock Club Pattern), Monkey by Cookie A.
Yarn: Socks that Rock lightweight in color Dragon Dance.
Needles: Tried lots and ended up with a US0 (2mm)
Construction: Fast and fun knit. Only took me 4 days. The Purl-less Monkey on the leg is a big big and slouchy, but acceptable. When I got to the foot I could reduce the number of stitche to 60 around, and that fits much better. I did Monkey pattern with Serendipity heel and toe. The heel is a nice looking short row leaving the double wraps to show. And the toe is a star toe (I believe).

They are gorgeous! Love how they came out, and only 4 days! Yay!

They look great! I just saw some pics of the sock club pattern on ravelry, and...hmmmm. The pattern looks neat, but not so much with the yarn. I clicked over here to suggest you might want to look at some FO pics of others before you knit yours...then I remembered you'd already decided to go a different route. I LOVE how they came out for you! :)
