It was Sarah's turn for a handmade sweater.
I saw this pattern printed and on my desk and remembered that I had printed it quite a while ago. Yesterday I was up to the challenge of trying something brand new. Thank goodness for online info!

Pattern: Giovanna's Cardi from Lion Brand
Yarn: Knit Picks Shine Worsted in Blush
Although this yarn is so yummy soft, I wonder if the crochet detail would show up better in a "stronger" yarn. I'll try again as this was a super fast knit, and I have 2 girls.

It was a quick "knit," huh? lol It's really cute! And I am sooo not going to look too closely at anything crochet -- my knit list is waaaay too long! lol
Although it is very cute don't let it suck you into the dark side. That crochet thing is like the dark side of the force. ;0)
She looks quite elegant in the lower picture!
Very nice work. I like the color you picked and the model is cute! :)
Wow - it's gorgeous! If it's my 1st crochet project, I will be doing squares. You are fantastic.
That's your first crochet project? Wow! It is very cute, and she looks so cute in it...
