I finished a sweater! A huge accomplishment as sweaters are so much more work than socks, and so not portable. I love this sweater and I really love the yarn as well. I will overwhelm you all with pictures but that's OK, right?

Pattern: My own design. Inspired by Pat's Acer, Cable from Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns and basic starter measurements from Knitting Fool's top down raglan calculator.
Yarn: Seacolors by Nanney Kennedy
Needles: US8 and US6
Started: January 10th 2009
Finished: March 12th 20009
Notes: I made the neck line a little wider, I knit the whole thing in the round and steeked the center, picked up stitches and knit the entire ribbing in the round with mitered corners.

What a beautiful sweater! I like how you changed the color for the cuffs, neckline, and buttonband. Cute pattern!
I even like the color. Maxie is so cute. Watch out for the doggie kisses, though. ;0)
Gorgeous sweater! I really like the pattern on the top, and the colors you chose are beautiful.

Sweater looks great on you and Max looks great in the picture too!
What a fantastic sweater -- it looks awesomely cozy (which is perfect with sweatpants, imo). ;)
Oh wow! That is beautiful! What an amazing job you did on it, and you say it's your first? ;)
What a gorgeous sweater! The colors are lovely. I can't believe you've only been knitting a couple of years. I hope to be that good in so short a time.
